For The Lord | Psalm 100:1-5 | Pastor Brian McGuffin | Thanksgiving Service

Season 4 Episode 38 Published 1 week ago
Description

What if Thanksgiving is about something far greater than family, food, and the blessings we receive?

In Psalm 100:1–5, we're reminded that true thanksgiving begins with recognizing who God is, what He has done, and why He alone is worthy of our praise.

In this special Thanksgiving message, Pastor Brian McGuffin explores the deeper meaning of gratitude. While we have much to be thankful for in our everyday lives, our greatest reason for thanksgiving is found in God's salvation, His unchanging goodness, and His faithfulness through every generation.

Thanksgiving is more than a holiday or a tradition. It's a response to the God who created us, redeemed us through Jesus Christ, and calls us to worship Him with joyful hearts.

God isn't simply good because of what He does. Goodness is who He is.

As we gather around our tables this Thanksgiving, may we remember that every good gift comes from the Lord, and that our greatest joy is found in knowing Him.
