Petrozavodsk Phenomenon: A Soviet Launch or a Sky‑Wide Mystery
Episode 539
Published 1 week, 2 days ago
Description
The episode explores the eerie dawn lights that lit up Petrozavodsk on September 20th, 1977, following the Kosmos‑955 launch from Plesetsk. Witnesses, radar data, and later Institute 22 reports are examined to separate atmospheric optics from speculation about secret technology, showing how a routine space event can become an enduring UFO narrative.
