In the last episode, you learned about Slovak reflexive verbs with “si” in the present tense. Today in the Slovak lesson you will learn a few verbs that will help you describe your morning routine in the present tense. This is bonus episode two.

Slovak Lesson
1.     zvoniť ( to ring) 
2.     vstávať (to get up)
3.     umývať sa (to wash oneself)
4.     česať sa (literally to comb oneself or to comb one’s hair)
5.     čistiť si zuby (literally to clean / to brush teeth)
6.     obliekať sa (to dress oneself)
7.     raňajkovať (to have breakfast)
8.     cvičiť (to exercise)
9.     sprchovať sa (to take a shower)
10. ísť na prechádzku (to go for a walk)
11. ísť do práce (to go to work)
12. ísť do školy (to go to school) 

Sentences:

1.     Budík zvoní o šiestej hodine. (The alarm clock rings at six o’clock.)
2.     Vstávam pomaly. (I get up slowly.)
3.     Idem do kúpeľne. (I go to the bathroom.)
4.     Umývam sa. (I wash myself.)
5.     Češem sa. (I comb my hair or literally I comb myself.)
6.     Čistím si zuby. (I brush my teeth.)
7.     Neraňajkujem. (I don’t have breakfast.)
8.     Najprv cvičím. (First, I exercise.)
9.     Niekedy idem na prechádzku. (Sometimes I go for a walk.)
10. Potom sa srchujem. (Then I take a shower.)
11. O ôsmej hodine idem do práce. (At eight o’clock I go to work.)
