Episode Details

Electric X is a five-piece indie funk rock band from Wollongong who deliver high-energy live performances driven by infectious grooves and electrifying stage presence.

Electric X has built a strong local following across the Illawarra and is now expanding into Sydney.

Last year Electric X were the winners of the battle of the bands competition at the University of Wollongong. Since then they have entertained crowds across many venues in Wollongong including TBH and La La La's. Fans can expect a sound reminiscent of Balu Brigada, DICE and Cat Empire.

Electric X are currently working on an EP which they are recording at Forbes Street Studio with Ethan Reginato.

They released their first single in September.
