Description
What exactly is a kami? In this episode of A Court of Witches, we step beyond the myths of Amaterasu and Susanoo to explore one of the most important concepts in Shinto. From sacred mountains and ancient trees to ancestors, shrines, purification rituals, and festivals, we'll discover why kami are much more than simply "Japanese gods"—and how the sacred can exist within the ordinary world around us.
Music is by Alexander Nakarada.
