Colares Conundrum: Light Beams, Burns, and Brazil’s 1977 UFO Investigation
Episode 251
Published 1 week ago
Description
This episode examines the 1977 Colares incident in northern Brazil—where villagers reported burn marks and electromagnetic disturbances—and the subsequent Operação Prato military inquiry that sought to explain the alleged light‑beam attacks. We weigh witness testimony, medical reports, limited photographic evidence, and the political climate of military‑rule Brazil, comparing conventional explanations with the lingering mystery of unexplained radiation.
