Colares Lights: Brazil’s Operation Prato and the Hunt for Evidence
Episode 269
Published 1 week, 1 day ago
Description
The episode dives into 1977’s Operation Prato, a Brazilian Air Force investigation of strange low‑altitude lights in Colares that produced vivid eyewitness accounts, medical reports of burns and blood loss, and a labyrinthine dossier still shrouded in uncertainty. We examine contemporary testimony, satellite and radar data, plausible terrestrial explanations, and the rumors that fueled a persistent myth of extraterrestrial contact.
