The Justice Department printed 5 years of Berkeley Law's admitted median LSAT scores by race in a federal findings letter. I go through the numbers, the "check only one" application question, Berkeley's answer, and the word Berkeley Law quietly deleted from its application page. Then why schools under federal pressure lean harder on your LSAT, and how to pull the 509 reports for your schools and find the floor you have to clear.
0:00 Berkeley's medians, made public
0:50 What a letter of findings is
2:00 The median table
4:18 Check only one
4:53 Berkeley's answer
6:24 One deleted word
7:21 Why the numbers matter more now
9:56 The 25th percentile is rising
10:21 What to do
11:12 What you control
I scored a 152 my first LSAT. Got to a 175. I've been teaching this test since 2005.
If you're prelaw, applying now, or stuck, you're in the right place.
