Episode Details

Kansas State’s vulnerable run defense faces a major test as Conner Weigman and the Houston Cougars aim to exploit weaknesses exposed by Cincinnati’s ground game. Can Avery Johnson rebound under center if forced to throw, or will Houston’s aggressive front hold the Wildcats in check? Burnt ends and brisket may be up for debate, but stopping explosive plays will be front and center on the field.

Host Parker Ainsworth and guest John Kurtz break down Kleins’s first bye week, Houston’s chances to run the ball effectively, and the critical impact of injuries in both quarterback rooms. Key discussions include offensive line matchups, defensive tackle depth, and the Big 12’s evolving power landscape—with crucial implications for both teams’ hopes of reaching Arlington. Will Houston’s physical rushing attack push Kansas State to the brink, or does home-field advantage tip the scales for the Wildcats? This elimination-game atmosphere sets the stage for must-see Big 12 football.
