Episode Details

The fallout from the Constitutional Court's asylum ruling dominated every station on the dial. Morning bulletins covered queues and standoffs at Home Affairs in Durban, and by evening the story had become violence, torched cars and looted spaza shops in Soweto and the Durban CBD. Alongside it, stations tracked another Mandrax lab bust, a harrowing alleged ritual killing of a baby in Gauteng, Parliament's R10-billion fuel relief bill and a busy cricket week.
