Water from the Rock

Exodus 17; 1 Corinthians 10:4

How does God answer His people’s unbelief? Reflecting on the water drawn from the rock in Exodus 17, Joseph Hall considers Moses’ prayer for a rebellious people and God’s gracious provision for their thirst. He points us to Christ, the true spiritual Rock, whose saving mercy refreshes all who come to Him in faith.
