Trump’s latest Oval Office threats are EXTREMELY dangerous

Published 1 week ago
Description

At 1:01 in the afternoon, the Oval Office cameras found Donald Trump slouched behind the Resolute Desk, heavy-eyed and staring into the distance. What was supposed to be an announcement about children’s savings accounts became an hour of threats, self-congratulation, and praise from his wealthy supporters. He claimed he had stopped “the total obliteration of the world,” asked about celebrating Vladimir Putin’s birthday, and said he could do “whatever I want” to his political opponents. And through all of it, children stood beside him, watching the example being set by the President of the United States.

Based on the events of Oct 7, 2026

The Breakdown:
• An event about children’s savings accounts became another celebration of the president and his name
• Trump called Democrats communists while his donors and inner circle stood behind him
• His claim that the children were already “extremely rich,” followed by his struggle to stay awake
• The instruction to the children: “Stay there, you’re so good-looking. The press can admire you.”
• Ted Cruz calling Trump Accounts one of the biggest parts of his presidential legacy
• Why helping children save money is different from turning a public program into a tribute to one man
• The $1,000 contribution for qualifying children, newly opened accounts, and what families need to consider
• Unanswered questions about the account data, the government app, privacy, and who can access families’ information
• Asked about a Gulf Coast hurricane and an Alabama football trip, Trump said, “I hadn’t heard about a hurricane”
• Trump looking for Michael Dell while the donor was standing close to him
• His threats against Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama, followed by “I can do whatever I want, if I want”
• Why those threats follow an authoritarian pattern of treating former leaders as obstacles to unchecked power
• His Nobel Prize claims and the connection between grandiosity and the belief that limits no longer apply
• Tariffs, Canada, and his vision of an America that supposedly won’t need anything from anybody
• The children in the Oval Office, the example they witnessed, and the future they will inherit
• Why an expected blue wave cannot become an excuse to stay home, and why every vote matters
• My ballot, our responsibility to protect our neighbors, and making room for people who are waking up and want to do better
