And there’s more: text messages between Guilfolyle and former congressional and gubenatorial candidate Eric Deters reveal a relationship that suggests Guilfoyle was promising Deters access to the DOJ, the IRS, and even Kid Rock for large sums of money. Guilfoyle denies any wrongdoing and so far, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Embassy continue to support Ambassador Guilfoyle, saying she is “committed to representing the American people with dedication and integrity.”
