• Wake Forest is the second-best team in the ACC. (Mark and Darren both punt, and Mark makes the case for Duke.)
• BYU at No. 8 in the poll makes no sense. We also get into Mike's tinfoil-hat theory about Notre Dame.
• Penn State is the 2026 poster child for "the grass isn't always greener" after letting James Franklin go for Matt Campbell.
• The Big Ten sends exactly three teams to the playoff: Oregon, Indiana and Ohio State. Then we rank those three.
