Episode Details

Eiichiro Oda's massively popular One Piece franchise, which has been running for decades following the pirate adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, is approaching its long-awaited conclusion. While discussing the origins of his sweeping saga, the creator revealed that his childhood fascination with maritime outlaws stemmed from an obscure 1970s television program called Vicke the Little Viking. This vintage animated series centered on a young boy whose aspiration was to join a crew of Norse seafarers. Oda noted that the tight-knit camaraderie and team dynamics depicted in that classic cartoon deeply influenced the enduring spirit of friendship found within his own masterpiece.
