A Most Inconvenient Devotion - Chapter 14 | Fanfiction Adaptation + Discussion
Description
A Most Inconvenient Devotion: an original adaptation of Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love by isthisselfcare — Chapter 14 — Touch Me Not
Draco and Hermione begin Midsummer morning disguised as hopelessly besotted Muggle newlyweds, hiking toward the monastery that guards the relic they have come to steal. Between questionable fashion choices, an ill-fated tumble into a ditch, and some increasingly dangerous moments of closeness, their supposedly simple plan rapidly becomes anything but.
Once inside the Magdalene’s grotto, the pair must bluff, improvise, and dismantle a succession of formidable magical defences before they can reach the hidden reliquary. But when they finally arrive, the treasure chamber has one last surprise waiting for them.
