Episode Details

Could Baylor actually crash the Big 12 Championship Game? And between the Houston Cougars, Utah Utes and Oklahoma State Cowboys, who looks like the best Big 12 football contender right now?

The Big 12 Squad debates a suddenly chaotic conference championship race, starting with Baylor’s potentially favorable path through TCU, Kansas, UCF and Iowa State before a brutal closing stretch against BYU, Texas Tech and Houston.

Then the debate heats up: Houston vs. Utah vs. Oklahoma State. Parker Ainsworth makes the case for Willie Fritz, Conner Weigman and the Cougars, while Utah and Oklahoma State make their own claims as legitimate College Football Playoff contenders.

Could the Big 12 eventually put multiple teams into the CFP? We also examine a wild scenario involving Utah, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and BYU piling up elite records.

Finally, what is happening at Colorado? The crew discusses Deion Sanders, the Buffaloes’ roster and coaching problems, Julian Lewis, Colorado’s quarterback situation and whether the Coach Prime era is approaching a major crossroads.

Plus: BYU, Iowa State, West Virginia, Arizona and more from around Big 12 football.
