Petersfield Society celebrates 80 years with local awards at its AGM
Published 1 week, 5 days ago
Description
The Petersfield Society celebrated its 80 years at their AGM last night, Thursday 8 October.
They also launched a new book, a walking trail around 38 historic buildings in Petersfield, a companion to their Tree Walk, still a best seller.
They made their annual 'Owl' awards to people who have contributed to Petersfield and its heritage.
The winner - perhaps a surprise - says a lot about the Society's outlook - conserving and developing.
Trustees Beth Svarovska and Anthony Allen speak to Mike Waddington about what the Society is committed to.
