Leading when you're Young | Test Corrections with Matt Westmoreland
Published 4 weeks ago
Description
What does it mean to lead in the city where you were raised?
Matt Westmoreland grew up in Atlanta, attended Atlanta Public Schools, and returned home after college to teach. By 26, he was serving on the Atlanta Board of Education. A few years later, he joined the Atlanta City Council.
In this episode, we discuss entering public life in your 20's, leading folks with more age and experience, and how Matt's understanding of politics has changed over the last decade.
We explore whether the best answer to “How do you lead?” begins with something simpler: I love it here. This is home.
