#231 The Cornell 7: But What Was She Wearing?

Episode 231 Published 3 weeks, 5 days ago
Description

(CONTENT WARNING: SA IS DISCUSSED) F*** being cute. Jayna's pissed and speaking up for all women who've had enough. Sparked by the Cornell Seven Story and the surrounding conversation this one is fuelled by collective rage. It's a raw, hot take on rape culture, bro code and the silence that protects it all. In this unfiltered episode, Jayna steps away from her usual format and asks why women are still doing all the homework. "Watch your drink, dont walk alone, dont get too drunk" instead of teaching men not to harm. From personal experiences with sexual assault to raising a daughter, Jayna unpacks consent, victim blaming, the effects of porn, and the silence of "good" men.
