The Tories offer nothing more than declaring that anyone can be English if they act like it, then calling you a racist for suggesting we deport the ones who don't.

Jacob Rees-Mogg told Tucker Carlson that everything that happened to Britain since the Second World War was worth it because "At least we're not speaking German."

But presumably, if Churchill had furnished the Luftwaffe with British passports, Mogg would insist they're as English as he is? Because his government invited millions who speak Hindi, Pashtun, and Urdu to live at our expense, and allowed thousands more to invade us via small boats across the Channel; but if you suggest they aren't British, Mogg will compare you to Hitler.

He's still fighting the Second World War in his head, against phantom fascists and brownshirts who dare to recognise differences between the ethnic groups, religions, and cultures he imported and ourselves.

Tim Stanley thinks only by making Kemi Badenoch Prime Minister can Britain heal its racial divides. Demographic change has happened, "and it's not going back," Tim insists. If you don't agree, Tim will call you a "lunatic", a "brownshirt", and insist you must be gatekept out of politics.

Unlike Tim, I'm not obsessed with being governed by "mummy". I don't think it is a good in itself to be ruled by a Nigerian woman. I don't feel compelled to forfeit political representation and possession of my country to clear my name of accusations of racism. I won't take lectures on prudence by cuckolds whose liberalism cannot conserve any of the demographic and cultural givens their worldview relies on.

Like the Conservative Party, the post-War consensus is a spent force. The more its taboos are invoked, the weaker they become, because living in the Britain they have created is simply intolerable.
