#1,094 IDFG Saving The Yellowstone Cutthroat with Brett High & Sage Unsworth
Episode 1094
Published 4 hours ago
Description
Brett High and Sage Unsworth work with Idaho Fish and Game and specifically engage in Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout conservation. Rainbow trout were introduced to various Idaho waterways in the 1970s as a way to keep fish populations high for fishermen, but the rainbow proved to be problematic for a number of reasons. Brett and Sage are two of the people on the front line saving the yellowstone genetics and breeding grounds so all Idahoans can continue to enjoy the native species. Enjoy!
