Part 2 of our interview with Steven Notley, academic director of the el-Araj excavation project along the north shore of the Sea of Galilee. WIthin the last decade, surprising discoveries have confirmed that el-Araj is indeed the site of New Testament Bethsaida, home of the Apostles Peter, Andrew, and Philip. The basilica they have uncovered may mark the site that ancient Christians believed was the home of Peter and Andrew.
