Description
The Abbott And Costello Show presents “The Boys Get Hired by Adrugstoreafrsfirst Half,” originally broadcast April 3, 1947. This surviving archival recording preserves the first half of the Camel-sponsored NBC program.
Bud Abbott urges Lou Costello to find steady work, leading the pair to jobs at a local drugstore. With Bud as assistant manager and Lou assigned to the soda fountain, everyday customer service quickly becomes a showcase for Costello’s literal-minded comic confusion.
