Sometimes we feel like we’re in over our heads.
Solomon had just been made king. And in his words, he didn’t know if he was coming or going. —from 1 Kings 3:7
But he did three things that made all the difference. He trusted God’s steadfast love to keep him. He recognized and acknowledged his own limitations. And finally, he sought wisdom for the road ahead.
Love will keep us, and wisdom will guide us when we’re honest enough to say we don’t know the way.
