Episode Details

British author Lisa Jewell achieved massive success with her 2023 psychological thriller novel, None of This Is True, which recently earned a spot on Goodreads among books with the best plot twists. The storyline follows a popular audio broadcaster named Alix Summer who randomly crosses paths with an enigmatic woman sharing her exact birthday named Josie Fair. After agreeing to feature her on her show to discuss her life, Alix uncovers unsettling secrets before Josie abruptly disappears and jeopardizes her loved ones. Inspired by a fleeting glimpse of a stranger through a window and the concept of age-mates, the author created a tale highlighting the dangers of inviting unpredictable individuals into one's personal space. Furthermore, Netflix secured the official film rights for the book in mid-2024 to develop a cinematic adaptation. While the upcoming production has enlisted Eleanor Burgess to pen the screenplay and Molly Sims to produce alongside Jewell as an executive producer, casting details and a premiere date remain unannounced.
