Episode Details

Houston Cougars shake up their depth chart as Stephon “Boogie” Johnson and Myles Rowser are cleared to play, adding fresh firepower ahead of a pivotal Kansas State clash. Can Houston’s retooled lineup fuel revenge for quarterback Conner Weigman, facing former coordinator Colin Klein in a storyline-rich Big 12 matchup?

The conversation focused on the Cougars’ suddenly cohesive offensive line, the strategic use of Johnson and Rowser across special teams and defense, and the potential impact on pass coverage with Rowser possibly moving into a linebacker role. A key theme that emerged was Houston’s growing confidence as player eligibility questions settle and the offense finds its rhythm. The discussion explored the significance of this week’s duel—not just for Houston’s Big 12 ambitions, but as Weigman’s chance to prove himself against a coach who once benched him. Will the Cougars’ new-look roster deliver a statement win in Manhattan?
