Tom Cruise is ACTING in Digger...But will you be watching?

Tom Cruise goes BIG and stretches his acting chops in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s DIGGER. The plot has such a twist and a major reveal that we basically have a lot to say without saying much. Cupcake and WillDsBeast are joined by fellow YouTube brother in arms John Horban of the “And Now for Something a Little Bit Different…” show and Josh Hurtado, pro film critic from Screen Anarchy to decide is this new VistaVision satire is a watch or a skip?

We open on Iñárritu’s heavily awarded career from his first films (Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Babel, Biutiful) to the films that brought him Oscars and worldwide acclaim (Birdman, The Revenant) that reveal Iñárritu to be a serious filmic artist. Then we tell you why Tom Cruise’s performance has us talking about his range, his action career, and if this performance is Oscar-worthy. If you love dark comedy, social satire, or filmmakers that take HUGE creative swings and chances like the hosts and the guests, Digger might be the a theatre must-see even with its twists and flaws.
