Why Alberta doesn’t mess around with rats
Published 4 weeks ago
Description
Recently, a dead rat was found in Alberta. While this might sound like a slow news day story for us, this is no joke for our next-door neighbours who have been essentially "rat-free" for 75 years. Karen Wickerson, rat and pest specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, joins Evan to explain how the province keeps the rats at bay and whether Saskatchewan is to blame for any unwelcome visits from the rodent.
