ANSWERS: How the Orlando Magic plan to FIX some of their biggest problems
Description
The Orlando Magic have a lot of issues to correct as they try to prepare for the season. There is lots to build off of from last season and a lot the team needs to rethink.
The Magic's struggling offense and shooting are the highest-profile problem. Orlando is hoping better spacing and more intentional offense can get higher-quality three-point shots and improve the team's offense.
They are also hoping better health can unlock a bench that has struggled to score and match the strong showing they had in the 2024 season. The addition of Anthony Black and Nikola Vucevic to full-time bench roles should help the team find some more punch off the bench.
Finally, the Magic's biggest issue is not an obvious one at all. They must regain their defensive intensity and skill. That has been a major focus through the first week of training camp.
