Back to EpisodesMissions Monday - What is Missions? - Part 1
Description
What exactly is missions? Why did God give the local church the responsibility of reaching the world with the Gospel? And what does it really mean to be involved in missions?
In this special two-part Missions Monday conversation, Pastor Finley Cutshaw, Pastor Isaac Johnson, and Dr. Harry Peart sit down to discuss the biblical purpose of missions, the responsibility of the local church, and the importance of taking the Gospel to the world.
Together, they talk about what missions is, why missions matters, how missionaries are sent and supported, and how every believer can have a part in fulfilling the Great Commission.
We begin with the biblical foundation of missions and explore God's heart for reaching people around the world with the Gospel.
We continue the conversation by looking at the role of the local church, missionaries, and individual believers in supporting and participating in worldwide missions.
This episode also highlights the ministry of Fundamental Baptist Worldwide Mission (FBWWM) and its role in helping churches send and support missionaries around the world.
