Episode Details

Duke Blue Devils basketball is officially back, and Countdown to Craziness revealed major depth and new stars. Can Jon Scheyer's squad turn preseason excitement into ACC dominance? Deron Rippey Jr. stunned with playmaking and energy, while transfer John Blackwell led all scorers. Freshmen Max Meyer and Jojo Boumtje Boumtje threw down highlight dunks, with Meyer’s above-the-rim defense and Boumtje Boumtje's slam contest crown signaling a new wave of talent in Durham.

JJ Jackson and Dr. Rob Jackson break down Duke’s competitive blue-white scrimmage, standout frontcourt contributions from Patrick Ngongba II and Cam Williams, and how sharp three-point shooting could be a weapon this season. They highlight Coach Scheyer's collaborative style, Dildy’s coaching insight, and what these early glimpses mean for the Blue Devils’ ACC and NCAA Tournament hopes. With football also surging and a Belmont exhibition looming, how high is Duke’s ceiling in 2026?
