Discernment, Ghosts & a Pixelated Rat with Laura Van Tyne — Part 1 of 4 | Classics Rotation

Published 18 hours ago
Description

The host and Laura Van Tyne open on the conference where they both walked out of a reptilian channeling, then on why Laura treats secret messages, attachments, and ghosts as things you test rather than trust. This part stays with that meeting, her session method, and her account of learning protection in a house she says was under attack, before the later Miami encounter and the manifestation material.

The host introduces Laura as a demon slayer, exorcist, psychic medium, and remote viewer, and says they met at a conference she had been meaning to attend. A speaker told the room he would channel a reptilian who gives him information. The host says she could sense a portal and a dark presence, and that she, her now-husband, and two friends left. Laura says she was the only other person who walked out, that she had no car, and that she got in with them. In Laura’s account the man refused her handshake, his face and hands changed, and he bragged that reptilians started World War II to teach humanity lessons. She says her guides told her not to engage, that she felt tethers around her legs and the chair, and that she stood up and broke them, describing it as a fight in another dimension. They laugh that at a later Journey to Truth conference Laura reintroduced herself and the host had to remind her of the car.

Laura says her sessions are not channeling. She wants the client to have what she calls skin in the game: a guided process, closer to light hypnosis than to an entity speaking through her, where she teaches the person to see and sense what is happening so they can tell whether they are inventing it. She says she stopped writing down her if-then patterns because naming them would skew the result. She calls these beings parasites that need people, and she says the channeler traded his soul for special knowledge and is responsible for the harm of opening dark portals. The host says channeling means letting a disembodied being use your body when you do not know who it is. Laura says she is not a fan of channeling for that reason, because the light side does not need to enter her to give information. Her stated work is removing dark entities from the earth plane for good, tracing how they got in, often through childhood trauma she describes as cracks in the foundation, and closing those doors.

Asked how common attachments are, she says quite a few, and that you do not know what you cannot see, comparing it to the time before microscopes. She treats phone photos of orbs, a soul leaving a body, or a dark figure as evidence people now have, and she says a healthy soul sits at a frequency that costs an attachment too much energy. Ghosts, in her view, are former humans stuck between heaven and earth and a food supply the dark side can reincarnate as easily as the light side can, so crossing them over matters. She says a ghost can come from a sudden death. After the Japan tsunami, she says her house filled with wet Japanese people looking for a bright light. She also counts unfinished business and the living holding on, especially after a child dies. She frames bodies as rental units and says she is not being cruel: there is a larger picture than mortal time, and love does not die. The host recounts a book by an Irish priest who sat with the dying, in which he asked families to do their grieving outside the room and, with the person, to say they would be okay so the soul could leave. Laura agrees that grief can wrap the dying in what she calls black tentacles. She tells of a friend’s mother who died of breast cancer, stayed housebound in the kitchen, followed her daughter to Laura’s house, asked to be crossed, and said she was angry that the family was keeping her in the same pain.

Laura says she can turn the sight on and off now. As a child her parents told her not to be weird. At twelve, on a camping trip, she told her mother her friend Kelly had died; her mother called it a bad dream
