VANILLA BILLS LOSE TO HAPLESS PATRIOTS | Overreaction Postgame Show
Description
Josh Allen and the Bills suffer their first loss of the 2026 season, falling 29-26 to the New England Patriots in a frustrating AFC East showdown at Highmark Stadium. Buffalo drops to 3-1 after allowing Drake Maye and the Patriots to answer a late Bills touchdown with a game-winning drive. Reuters
On the Overreaction Postgame Show, the guys break down everything that went wrong. Did the Bills underestimate New England? What happened to the defense against Drake Maye? Why couldn't Buffalo generate consistent pressure? And after Josh Allen and Keon Coleman connected for a 34-yard touchdown to give Buffalo a 26-21 fourth-quarter lead, how did the Bills let the Patriots march back down the field and steal the game? Coleman was a major bright spot, finishing with 6 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, while Allen finished with 253 passing yards, a passing TD and a rushing TD before a late interception ended Buffalo's final chance.
Was this simply one bad Sunday, or did the Patriots expose weaknesses that could become a serious problem for the Bills as the season continues?
Sound off in the comments — who deserves the most blame for the Bills' first loss of 2026?
