Author and practising witch Rebecca Beattie returns to Soul Sync to join Jason Paul for a warm, playful conversation about her new book, The Season of Frost and Fire: A Witch’s Winter in 13 Rituals.
From frosty walks and forgotten goddesses to deep rest and a storm in a jar, Rebecca invites us to get curious about the life and meaning within the colder months. She shares how the book developed across three winters, and how returning to the same rituals can reveal something different each time.
Together, we explore the tarot as a companion through seasonal and personal change. What can the Hermit teach us about rest? How might we understand the Tower, the Devil and the Death card with less fear? And what does the Star offer after a difficult period?
The conversation becomes personal as we reflect on grief, leaving familiar lives behind, and the courage it takes to follow a different path. Rebecca shares how returning home from London opened up her writing life, while Jason reflects on stepping into mediumship and making space for the work he feels called to do.
