CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “The Sealed Room Murder,” originally broadcast October 23, 1975, as episode 366. Adapted by Ian Martin from Melville Davisson Post’s “The Doomdorf Mystery,” this pioneer-era Virginia locked-room drama features Howard DaSilva and Fred Gwynne.
In an isolated mountain community, a much-disliked resident is found dead in a room apparently sealed from within. As local investigators look past the town’s easy explanations, the victim’s bitter history and the impossible crime scene point toward a deeper mystery.
