Story Transcript:

En: In the shadow of a large oak tree, on the edge of the garden, stood Tatyana.

En: She looked anxiously at the blooming sea of the Khozyaystva Ognennoy Ptitsy.

En: This was her home, her labor, her hope.

En: The calendar showed that autumn was already in full swing, and the forecast predicted the imminent arrival of the first frost.

En: "They are too beautiful to freeze," thought Tatyana, looking at the last of the daisies, marigolds, and asters that still clung to their stems.

En: Not far away stood Igor, her husband.

En: He was as calm as ever, but anxiety was evident in his eyes.

En: He knew that if they didn't urgently gather the harvest, their financial situation would be at risk.

En: "We'll make it," he said, trying to reassure his wife.

En: Suddenly, the sound of footsteps came from the direction of the road.

En: It was Mikhail, their neighbor and, in a way, Tatyana's rival.

En: "Hello, Tatyana, Igor," said Mikhail, stopping at the gate.

En: He looked at the flowers, half-smiling.

En: There was no ill will in his heart, despite the rivalry.

En: "Would you like some help?

En: I see you have a lot to do."

En: Tatyana was reluctant to ask her rival for help, but common sense suggested that with Mikhail, they might be able to finish faster.

En: "What do you want in return?"

En: she asked, eyeing him warily.

En: "Nothing serious," he laughed.

En: "Just a little mutual help.

En: I'll need some assistance with barn repairs in the winter."

En: After a brief consideration, Tatyana nodded.

En: Time was pressing, and the flowers wouldn't wait.

En: Soon, the three of them were bending over the flowers like ants, carefully cutting them and placing them into bo
