David Eigenberg on Acting, Chicago Fire & the Man Behind Herrmann
Published 15 hours ago
Description
David Eigenberg joins The Championized Podcast for a conversation about acting, career longevity, Chicago, the fire service, and the person behind the characters audiences have come to know.
Best known as Christopher Herrmann on NBC’s Chicago Fire and Steve Brady from Sex and the City, David talks about the journey behind his career, what has helped him stay grounded, and what he has learned from working in television for decades.
The conversation also takes on a unique perspective through Severen Henderson’s own experience in the fire service, creating an interesting discussion about portraying firefighters on television versus actually living the job.
Originally recorded with Lewis Fox for Mostly Stories 312, this conversation fits naturally into Championized because it is about more than acting. It is about growth, identity, staying humble, doing the work, and continuing to evolve long after people think they already know your story.
A relaxed, funny, and thoughtful conversation with David Eigenberg about the work, the journey, and the life beyond the role.Guest: David Eigenberg
