I Went to a Tech Convention. They Opened a Door to Jurassic Park

Description
The invitation arrived in a plain white envelope with no return address. Inside was a single card: "You are invited to witness the future of biotechnology. Location: undisclosed. Date: next Thursday. Bring nothing. Tell no one." Against every instinct, I went. The convention was held in a repurposed military bunker buried beneath the Nevada desert—a facility that didn't appear on any map. The first two days were uneventful: lectures on gene editing, demonstrations of synthetic biology, champagne toasts to the "brave new world." On the third day, they opened a door. And on the other side of that door was a jungle. A real jungle. With things that should not exist.

In this episode, we explore a first-person horror story about a tech convention that hides a terrifying secret. A journalist is invited to an exclusive biotech event, only to discover that the company behind it has been doing more than just editing crops. They've been editing life. The jungle behind the door is not a simulation. The creatures inside are not animatronics. And the people who run this facility have no intention of letting their guests leave with the truth. Some doors are opened for a reason. Some are opened for a warning. And some are opened to feed what's on the other side.
