The Legal and Vital Work of Salvation Part 23: The Resurrection: Where the Real Victory Happened
Published 6 days, 20 hours ago
Description
Did Jesus and Satan ever actually fight for your soul? Dr. Abel Damina says the drama many believers imagine never happened — "Jesus and Satan never met," and in fact "Satan didn't know when Jesus rose" until well after the resurrection. He teaches that Jesus's real triumph over Satan came not at the cross, which was a place of identification, but through the resurrection, when "the gates of hell" — spiritual death — were defeated once and for all. This episode of Reintroducing Jesus, Beyond Religion replaces a common mental picture of spiritual warfare with what Dr. Damina says Scripture actually shows.
