Mental Illness Awareness Week runs October 4th through 10th, highlighting local counseling, therapy, and medication management services for children and adults. The department is also promoting free Better Birth Outcomes support for expectant parents and families with babies under six months old. Get Covered Illinois Navigators will be at several local events in October to help residents review health insurance options.
