Published 2 weeks, 2 days ago
Description
The Abbott And Costello Show presents “Knights in Shining Armor with Merle Oberon,” originally broadcast November 19, 1942. In this Camel-sponsored NBC Red program, guest star Merle Oberon joins Bud Abbott and Lou Costello for a Hollywood-studio send-up that turns into a comic medieval adventure.
At fictional Perfume Pictures Incorporated, Abbott and Costello prepare Oberon’s latest picture before donning armor as Sir Lloyd and Sir Porterhouse opposite Oberon’s Princess Guinevere. Mel Blanc also appears as the studio sound man, with Connie Haines and the Camel Five featured in the broadcast.
