I Work in a Prison for Vampires. I Interviewed a True Original

Description
The facility is called Blackmoor. It's not on any map. It doesn't appear in any budget. It's a prison, but not for humans. The inmates are vampires—some turned, some born, some something in between. I'm an interviewer. My job is to talk to them, to document their stories, to understand what they are. Most of them are predictable. They rage, they bargain, they lie. But then I was assigned to him. He doesn't have a name, or if he does, he won't share it. He's been here longer than the prison has existed. He's older than the walls. Older than the country. He's what they call an Original—a vampire who was never human, who was born into the blood, who existed before the first human ever walked the earth. And tonight, he decided to talk. To me. About what he's seen. About what he's done. About what's coming. And about the only thing that has ever frightened him.
