I_m by Myself on a Lifeboat_ but I_m Not Alone
Published 2 weeks, 2 days ago
Description
The ship went down in the middle of the night. I don't remember the impact, only the cold water and the desperate scramble for the surface. When I woke up, I was alone on a lifeboat, drifting in an endless grey sea. No land. No other boats. No sign of the ship or the hundreds of people who were on it. Just me, the oars, and a few ration packs. That was three days ago. I should be dead by now. I should have given up. But I can't. Because I'm not alone on this lifeboat. Something is down there, beneath the hull. And it's getting closer.
In this episode, we explore a first-person horror story of survival and isolation on the open ocean. A lone survivor drifts on a lifeboat after a catastrophic shipwreck, but the silence of the sea is broken by strange sounds beneath the water. Something is circling the boat. Something large. Something that shouldn't exist. As days pass and hope fades, the survivor realizes that the thing in the water is not waiting for him to die. It's waiting for him to make a choice.
