Published 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Description
Our Miss Brooks presents “Outpost Road,” episode 315, originally broadcast on CBS on November 13, 1955. Eve Arden stars as the sharp-witted Madison High School teacher Connie Brooks, alongside Gale Gordon as Principal Osgood Conklin, Robert Rockwell as Mr. Boynton, and Richard Crenna as Walter Denton.
A police report involving Walter Denton and Outpost Road puts Connie’s hoped-for evening with Mr. Boynton in an awkward light. Meanwhile, Conklin’s demand that Miss Brooks take minutes at his club’s election meetings adds another complication to the familiar Madison High comedy.
Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
