ALERT: Auburn football is headed to Knoxville for a matchup with Tennessee, and this might be the week Auburn has to finally unlock everything Byrum Brown and the running game can do.

The talent is there.

Brown has already shown throughout his career that he can hurt defenses with his arm and his legs. Jeremiah Cobb gives Auburn speed and explosiveness from the running back position. The question is whether Auburn can become more creative about putting those abilities together.

One play against Vanderbilt showed exactly what that could look like.

Auburn used a QB power read that gave Cobb an opportunity to attack the perimeter while Brown had the option to keep the football and get downhill between the tackles. It puts stress on a defense because both options play directly into what those players do well.

Why not make defenses stop it more than once?
