When governments force this by taking things from one person to give to someone else, it may lead to equal outcomes but it will be an outcome in which everyone's quality of life goes down. This is why you see people fleeing Cuba for the US (and not the US for Cuba). This is why people are fleeing Venezuela for the US instead of the other way around. Learn what is going on in the Netherlands. There are countries that have already experienced socialism or communism and have realized that it does not work. Many of these countries have started to turn things around. We talk about places like Poland, the Czech Republic, and Argentina. If you are dependent on someone else to give you what you need, you are giving power to someone else to control you. You have to take responsibility for yourself and your own life. Prepare to take care of yourself now and in retirement. Then, you will not have to worry about what someone else will or will not give you.
