Three South Carolina players are ON THE CLOCK against Kentucky — and could Cutter Woods finally get his opportunity at quarterback? ⏰🐔

South Carolina returns to Williams-Brice Stadium for a massive matchup against Kentucky, and Chris Marler breaks down the Gamecocks who need to deliver in a game Shane Beamer and USC desperately need to win.

We start with J’Zavien Currence, who could have a major role against a Kentucky offense built around getting the football out quickly and attacking the perimeter. Then, is it time for Justin Okoronkwo to become the unquestioned leader of the South Carolina defense? His speed and athleticism could be critical against the Wildcats.

Offensively, keep an eye on Matt Fuller. South Carolina has quietly been one of the most effective rushing teams in the country, while Kentucky has struggled to stop the run. Could the Gamecocks finally lean into their biggest offensive strength?

And then there’s the quarterback situation.

LaNorris Sellers remains QB1 — but should Cutter Woods be ready to play if Sellers struggles again? Chris explains why Sellers deserves the start, why Kentucky could be a favorable matchup for him based on his previous performances against the Wildcats, and what would have to happen for Woods to get his shot.
