One Transformational Eating Disorder Recovery Hack (In Just 12 Minutes)

Episode 631 Published 3 days, 3 hours ago
Description

A transformational hack that is often overlooked in recovery.

Regular eating involves eating three meals and three snacks (or working up to this). It’s sometimes referred to as the six eats. It is self-caring eating, and you are considering nourishment, health, satisfaction and taste. You are including balance in your meals. This means including a protein source, some carbohydrate, good fats and fruits/vegetables. It can involve introducing your unsafe foods in a structured and controlled manner, to build confidence.

You will be eating every 2 ½ - 3 hours. This means that your blood sugar remains relatively stable. You rarely reach the ‘I’m so hungry, I could eat my arm off,’ situation, which often ends in bingeing or overeating.

In this video I explain the six benefits of regular eating. I hope that you find it helpful.
