We continue in our series on being Changemakers in the world and walking the path Jesus laid out for us. Today we looked at the role of Creativity in walking with God. 5,000+ people needed to be fed and there was no obvious supply of food anywhere in site. Jesus finds a creative way to engage the disciples and feed the crowd so that everyone sees God's provision and amazing work. And in our second story for the day, a woman whose sin is known to the community comes to a supper at the home of Simon, a Pharisee, uninvited. We think the host is great and this woman is lowly. But Jesus reverses the lesson for us by showing the heart and hospitality of the woman outweigh that of the host. She is the positive example in this story. It's a creative story with a great reversal of what we expect.
